The Light is the religion behind the crusades, and is a source of power utilized by the Vestal and the Flagellant. Her CC trinkets are Atonement Beads and Salacious Diary, with the quote: 'I fear the whispers of my mind'. 'Religious' heroes in Darkest Dungeon worship an entity or god known as the 'Light.' This religion is similar to abrahamic religions, as it is seen as a holy entity in-universe. The Vestal is also the only character to have two rare trinkets, Profane Scroll and Tome of Holy Healing. Darkest Dungeon OC Amala the leper knight lass Maria the Vestal also makes an appearance darkest dungeondarkest dungeon ocsdarkest dungeon leper. attitude, how much of their choice in traveling to the Hamlet and aiding the Heir is out of genuine heroism Is the Vestal a woman whos genuinely a bit overly. The Vestal's biggest strenght is her reliability as a support character and being the game's only (not DLC) dedicated healer. While most characters have seven trinkets, The Crusader, Highwayman, Plague Doctor and Vestal all have the most at eight. Vestal: Dedicated Healer The Vestal is arguably the most important characters in the game during those first few crucial hours. I also don't know why RH would get rid of her, even with all the flaws I mentioned. Vestal is a crucial characterespecially in the first few hours of the game. I think allowing the Vestal to heal in all ranks while also giving her something unique to do in the frontlines would make her more interesting. However I dont want this place leaderless so if you want to lead dm me a basic resume. This limits team building because some of her best moves aren't compatible with her frontlines moves (that are also very lackluster). Sorry I havent been here lately, Ive just not been interested. Most characters can play multiple roles, but Vestal's move set is so lackluster you can only use her (effectivally) as a support healer (which is pretty boring role if you ask me).Īnother thing I dislike about the Vestal is that she can only be "effective" in the hindlines while most support classes can play in almost any ranks effectivally (talking about OCC, MAA and HoM). Perhaps it would be interesting to have a few character specific flaws/quirks regarding in town activities. No, but I hope they change Vestal so she can be more interesting to play with. It seems very strange to use the name without drawing on its strongest association. True, but Vestals are historically linked with chastity. I just find it strange that everyone is assuming that the Vestal has to be chaste. Not that I'm ever going to be opposed to an idea that involves adding more character specific rules/mechanics to the game and if it happens that she is celibate then I think it's fitting for her character. Hi all another edit with combined parts of RYUchan and Judgement Vestal skin. A 12th century crusader and magic monk lady seem out of place when compared to the highway man and grave robber. With two reliable healing skills at her disposal - one for a single target and one for the whole party - she easily becomes a staple in many parties for her ability to keep their health replenished. I agree the reason they aren't in the game is because they're trying to get rid of the magic angle so all the characters can 'coexist'. Granted the Vestal is described as a warrior nun but, in the context of Darkest Dungeon and a fictional religion that we don't know all that much about I think that's a flimsy arguement at best. The Vestal is one of the game's two dedicated healers, the other being the Occultist. I get the Leper but, not all religious orders practice celibacy. The Hellion shouldnt be able to pray either methinks. Opprinnelig skrevet av Scribbled:Actually, I feel that some of the characters, namely the Leper and Vestal should be outright banned from the brothel.
